U sing a variety of different methods, I try to communicate with as many people as possible. I first became active in effective communication when I joined my local ‘Toastmaster‘ group. There I began practising my public speaking skills and improvised speaking. While the experience certainly produced a lot of anxiety I learnt a great deal from it and gained in confidence.
Beyond that experience I began creating videos, then blogging and have since moved into having my articles and opinions published by the respected ‘Nursing Times‘.

Student Nursing Times
The Student Nursing Times the online site run by the prestigious ‘Nursing Times’ aimed at Student Nurses and mentors. I have the honour of being the Student Nurse Editor and have a weekly blog as well as contributing in other ways. In May, 2012 we launched the ‘Student Nursing Times Podcast’ with myself at the helm.
